Are you passionate about customer service and creating memorable guest experiences? We are looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Cinema Cashier to join our team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, processing ticket and concession sales, handling cash transactions accurately, and ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless cinema experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with ticket purchases, movie schedules, seat selection, promotions, and cinema inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process ticket, food, beverage, and merchandise sales accurately, accepting cash, mobile money, debit, and credit card payments.
- Issue receipts, maintain accurate transaction records, and balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift.
- Operate POS systems and process refunds, exchanges, vouchers, and promotional offers per company policy.
- Upsell food, beverages, loyalty programs, and promotional packages, supporting concession operations during peak periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of cashier stations, support opening/closing procedures, and participate in training programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business, Hospitality, Customer Service, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous experience in cashiering, retail, hospitality, or customer service is an added advantage.
- Experience handling cash transactions and POS systems is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
